Are you ready for the Florida Gators to win the National Title? I sure am!! I am speaking it into existence! It will be an interesting month of basketball for sure!

In other news this this is my last full month of classes in CGA. If you have been following along you will remember in April I am going with leadership track for two weeks to Morocco! We have split up into 3 teams and we have all been given a title/position that we will need to fulfill for the duration of the trip. I am team Treasurer once again, like I was on my race! That means I will be handling the teams finances and logistics as far as money goes. I will be in charge of paying for our food, transportation, and lodging- as well as keeping receipts and keeping up with a detailed spreadsheet. Oh the joys that come with adulting!

I am very excited for our trip but I also have some reservations. I will be taking off work for 2 weeks to go back on the mission field. This tends to give me some anxieties if I think about it too much. Also, Morocco is a closed country-this can be a little nerve wracking. It is 93% Islam and home to a majority of Muslims. Christians are not welcome. We will be “tourists” traveling abroad to partner with a local undercover missions organization-to help meet the needs of the community we will be in. I am not sure what exactly our day to day ministry will look like, but I will blog the details as I know them.

The summer is quickly approaching which means work will soon be very busy for us here in Gainesville! TRAINING CAMP! We will have 3 training camps this summer, and will be hosting our campus as a home base for hundreds of new World Racers getting ready to go out into the field! This job is very life giving for me and a lot of other people, but it can also get chaotic and overwhelming at times. But nonetheless I am excited for all that is to transpire!

I wanted to thank you who have been praying for my Dad! He made it through his surgery and is now at home in recovery mode. He will be on a liquid diet for the next few months, so continued prayers for him will be appreciated! For a speedy recovery, limited pain, and a brand new body and way of life! The doctors told him he had been given a second chance at life and I am hopeful and expectant that the best is still to come.

What’s next for me? People have been asking me- So what is after CGA? Where are you going to go? What are you going to do? I have learned over the past two years that life goes a lot more smoothly when I surrender my control and my plans to the Lord. So I have no solidified plans – I am sold out, and relying fully on him. My desire is to continue working here at Adventures in Missions, and living in a community home somewhere in Gainesville. If I could stay where I am currently living that would be a dream! I have recently confessed to my local Church body that I want to be more active in my community so I am looking into helping with the kids program, and serving in various ways at the Church. But if at any time the Lord decides to change my plans, I pray I am flexible and willing to go where he leads. I have no idea what is to come, but I am excited for the journey!
